Fluffy Jackets: Fall's statement pieces
Fall is the perfect time to wear fluffy jackets. This is my one and only genuine rabbit fur jacket. It is so soft to touch and I love how the cropped style fits on my petite frame as a full length jacket. I've worn it over long sleeves, short sleeves and dresses for work and parties for the past 2 years.
Cropped styles are great for petites. This not only applies for jackets, but also for tops and pants. If they are labelled as cropped, there is a good chance that they can fit you well.
Just like leather and faux leather, both genuine fur and faux fur have their own pros and cons. Obviously, that's a whole debate of its own. Briefly speaking, leather and fur are non animal-friendly, but are natural and biodegradable; meanwhile the faux leather and fur are cruelty-free, but are mostly made from plastics. Whichever is your preference, there are better choices in each category. I'm not vegan, but I don't eat meat/dairy everyday. When it comes to leather and fur, I would seek out secondhand options first, before buying new from trusted sources. There are plenty of options from local thrift stores and online consignment stores, and they always have fluffy and furry items in stock.

I also enjoy faux leather items like this bag. Faux leather is water proof since it's essentially plastic, but that's a plus for raining days. This bag is an old purchase from China. If you love this look, you may like this one from Nordstrom.

Pants: Corduroy as the signature fabric of fall

I'm recently in love with loose high-waisted pants. These pants also come in 2 more colors. The fit is true to Levi's size chart, maybe slightly big if anything. If you aren't sure, I'd suggest going down a size. For reference, my waist measurement is 26'' and size 24 fits nicely.
