Staying at The Rex Hotel - Modern Cabin Getaway

Staying at The Rex Hotel - Modern Cabin Getaway

When Brian and I arrived at The Rex, I was immediately charmed by this boutique hotel. We were there for 2 nights and we could see ourselves going back for more.

The Rex Hotel has 10 units and is right next to a trailhead. It is located next to The Promised Land State Park.

We got one of their smallest rooms called The Pine, and it’s good for couples.

In the room, we had great household products and appliances like a coffee machine from Smeg, a machine-washable rug from Ruggable, and hand soap from Public Goods that Brian kept saying: “it smells sooo good”.

They use Brooklinen sheets and Birch natural mattresses.

We played hours of board games on this little bar table.

This runner from Ruggable is machine-washable.

A welcome kit

Travel outfit: straw hat, white tee, black wide legged pants from THREDUP, organic cotton socks from PACT, and puffy leather sandals from Sam Edelman.
Travel water bottle from Simple Modern.

Backyard with Solo Stove for making a fire at night.

Since I was still recovering from a sports injury, we laid low on outdoor activities. We did a short hike, drove around the area and stopped for sightseeing.

We bumped into the founders of the hotel who were staying there too. When they realized that it was our anniversary weekend, they brought us a bottle of wine. How sweet :)
