Mount Emei: A Must Visit in Sichuan
I love mountains and lakes
It takes about an hour and half on the high speed train to go from Chengdu to Emeishan City. This small city in Sichuan is famous for the beautiful mountain that's named after: Mount Emei.
Me and family spent a day in Mount Emei. After getting settled in a hotel nearby, we took a short bus ride to the foot of the mountain. From there, we hiked to the Wild Monkey Zone. We finished the day by soaking at an outdoor hot spring at Lingxiu Hot Spring.

Some wild monkeys don't mind getting close with the tourists, others stay far away up in the trees
Mount Emei is one of the best places to visit in Sichuan. Since it's convenient to commute between Chengdu (Sichuan's capitol) and Emeishan City by public transportation, many locals and travelers can visit Mt. Emei on a weekend trip.
