Low heel wedding shoes can be beautiful, versatile and comfortable all at the same time. I picked out my wedding sandals with the intention to wear them again after the big day. They are also great for anniversaries if you are celebrating in dressy styles!

Dress Before Shoes

My wedding theme colors in NYC were green and white. After getting a modern white dress for the ceremony and a dressy jumpsuit for the reception, I started to look for the sandals that would go with both - and something comfortable.

Since wedding dresses are usually trickier and more expensive, I suggest getting the dress first before looking for the matching shoes.

Be Yourself

After trying 3-5 different shoe styles, I finally decided to buy the style I would normally wear: 2-inch block heels. This way I know I will wear them again and not just on my wedding day for a few hours. I suggest choosing a style that your feet will be happy in; because you want to look and feel a best version of yourself on that day!

Choose a Color

If you want metallic shoes for your wedding, you may want to match them with your jewelry on that day. Think silver, gold, and rose gold tones. Also, ivory, white, pale pink and beige shoes are very versatile for a bridal look and everyday outfits.
