My down jackets/coats have always been black, but this winter I'm yearning for something different. That's why when I saw this purple pink Patagonia down jacket, I had to get it. This color is sold out already but new colors are available and are just as cute. I also have the older version of Patagonia's Downtown Jacket, which is more fitted and has a zipped hoodie design.
The current version of Downtown Jacket has a relaxed fit. It's a couple inches longer than the previous one. The shell fabric is water-resistant. There is a lot of room in the sleeves, great for layering on those chunky knits and sweatshirts. Water-resistant jackets are great for fall & winter.
